I love, love, love being outside! (Although this Texas, summer heat is beginning to put a 
damper on it all) I find myself drawn to small patios with lots of
greenery, a splash of color & a comfy place to relax. Honestly, take any cozy space with plenty of texture, add some beautiful vines & a few strings of light and I’m sold.

As summer rolls around, many of the magazines we receive are
focused on outdoor living.  I find myself enjoying mail time & imagine myself sipping wine with friends in these
featured spaces. Some of my current favorites include:

• Anything that makes me feel like I am in a Japanese tea garden or
  is flooded with Asian lanterns
• White lights & vines twisting overhead! Especially when it looks like an Italian winery or farm; where I am about to indulge in a huge, evening meal
• Vintage seating/atmosphere with a variety of colorful Bohemian fabric & pillows strewn about; like you might see in the “home” section of Anthropologie

My name is Jenae Telfer and I am a recovering Elementary School Teacher who landed the best management job when I met Mary in 2006.  I have a great appreciation for interior design, architecture & photography and work with the most talented people I know.  I have been happily in Austin for 10 years now, although take ANY chance to travel.  The further & more remote, the better!

I also love animals, especially my two Boston Terriers that pretty much own me. I am a fan of positive attitudes & LOVE and I’m always up for a night out of live music, good food and good friends.

What does my house look like?  Clean!!  I would describe my own personal style as contemporary with a touch of vintage Asian & Polynesian, island flare.  I absolutely love a variety of texture; exposed stone & wood, but softened by colorful rugs and fabric.  I can’t seem to get out of my color green loving phase…I guess it’s my desire to bring the outside into my home.
