I love, love, love being outside! (Although this Texas, summer heat is beginning to put a 
damper on it all) I find myself drawn to small patios with lots of
greenery, a splash of color & a comfy place to relax. Honestly, take any cozy space with plenty of texture, add some beautiful vines & a few strings of light and I’m sold.
As summer rolls around, many of the magazines we receive are
focused on outdoor living. I find myself enjoying mail time & imagine myself sipping wine with friends in these
featured spaces. Some of my current favorites include:
- Anything that makes me feel like I am in a Japanese tea garden or
is flooded with Asian lanterns - White lights & vines twisting overhead! Especially when it looks like an Italian winery or farm; where I am about to indulge in a huge, evening meal
- Vintage seating/atmosphere with a variety of colorful Bohemian fabric & pillows strewn about; like you might see in the “home” section of Anthropologie
